Great customer service and prompt responses to inquiries and concerns. Order was shipped within 72 hrs. Paid for 2 day shipping but FedEx failed and it took 4 days. When I notified Vsons, shipping charges immediately refunded.
Mitch box should hold up to at least 5 days of mail, possibly more, depending on amount of junk or catalogs delivered. With the lock, mail is held securely and there is no need to stop mail delivery if one is away for up to a week or so.
Bronze is a lovely soft color, nice very lightly textured finish, much more attractive than anything available at big box stores. Attractive and solidly built. If placed in a covered area as we did, it should last for many many years.
Really appreciate option to add full, address, not just the house number. We constantly receive erroneous deliveries meant for the residence around the corner (same house number but different street name). We hope that delivery people will, now, see the address on our Vsons mailbox and deliver to the correct house.
Note: the only way to add and remove mail is from the top so box must be mounted low enough to do so. For this reason, we placed it so the top is level with the doorbell.
Also, be sure the surface onto which it will be mounted is perfectly flat. We had to add some rubber washers to the extend the rear bumper legs 1/8 -1/4" because wood siding is ever so slightly bowed outwards; not enough to notice visually but it interfered with opening the door to the mailbox.
Despite the above "gotchas" we are very satisfied with our Mitch mailbox.

Solid quality, looks good. Using the spacers at the back, mounting the box requires a fairly even background to allow the lid enough free space to swing up to fully open. We needed to improvise to hang it against the bricks (making our own spacers from felt furniture protectors) with long screws. That said, it looks great, has ample space and our mailman gives it a thumbs up :)

Hey gang, mostly happy and would rate it a four/four and a half. My only hesitation in a 5 has to do with trying to match the product our neighbors ordered, and we 'just' missed.
The two differences are the size and color of the numbers. When I tried to go larger, the form showed only 3 numbers were available. I also didn't see white as a possibility, and am willing to admit 'user error' here.
Thanks for a Significantly better product than was provided by our builder and we do reasonably match the other "cool kids" on the block.

Nice mailbox for a decent price. The mounting template was relatively easy to use but it would have been nice if the paper was the same size as the mailbox to help better visualize the final location (it was shorter and wider than the mailbox). This model does not have an outgoing mail flag of any sort which seems like a significant oversight since most of the other models have one.

The mailbox is of very high quality and feels very solid. I got the house numbers engraved and that looks very nice, the black paint on the steel seems like it won't come off easily. Only negative thing is that the mail slot once the mailbox is loved is rather thin but so far the mail man had no problems with it.

Excellent mailbox. I have seen similar colored mailboxes listed as French bronze if it helps anyone with the color description. Be aware that the numbers are not reflective. I suggest that if you want reflective numbers to use a Cricut machine with reflective vinyl. However, I think the numbers look excellent. Finally, as an added bonus, there is a template for marking the wall. Now, let me suggest how to mount on a concrete wall. Use Hillman, wedge anchors that are 1.75 inches long. These anchors prevent somebody from stealing the mailbox without tools because they secure the mailbox to a wall with nuts tightly, so it cannot be lifted off.

Love love love this mailbox. I wish I had another house so I can get another one. It is an absolutely beautiful mailbox. I hesitated to buy this because I thought I didn’t want to spend so much on a mailbox, but I have NO regrets. It is very well made. I didn’t need customer service but I am giving the shop five stars for customer service because of how well it was packaged. It is obvious that is was packed with care. It was packed so nice I half expected to find a high end designer handbag in the box instead of a mailbox.
