The Mitch Engravable pairs a black powder-coated stainless steel face with an aluminum body, in our larger wall-mounted format. Your house numbers or name are laser-engraved: the laser removes the powder coat to reveal brushed stainless steel underneath. No decals, nothing to peel.
At 14.625" wide and 11" tall, the Mitch Engravable holds standard mail, magazines and small bundles. Add the optional keyed lock at checkout to turn it into a locking mailbox. Every unit is designed by Vsons and made in North America.

Wall-Mounted Installation:
- Position the included mounting template on the wall
- Mark the mounting hole locations
- Drill pilot holes and install anchors suited to your wall
- Secure the mailbox with hardware made for your surface
Hardware: Not included. Walls and sidings vary too much for one universal kit.
Sealing Kit Recommended: If the mailbox is exposed to the elements, add the sealing kit at checkout. It covers the mounting holes with rubber washers (3) and adds a gasket at the back to seal against the lid.

Face: 18-gauge stainless steel 304 with black powder coat.
Body: Aluminum.
Personalization: Laser engraving removes the powder coat to expose brushed stainless steel, so the lettering is part of the mailbox, not applied to it.
Salt Exposure: The black powder coat protects the stainless face, but engraved lettering exposes bare stainless steel 304. Stainless doesn't rust on its own, yet salt air near the ocean or de-icing salt from the street can cause rust spots on the engraving. We don't guarantee against this in salt conditions. If it happens, we sell a stainless steel restorer.
Maintenance: Clean with mild soap and water.

How is the engraving done?
A laser removes the black powder coat in the shape of your numbers or text, revealing the brushed stainless steel underneath. It won't peel or fade like a decal.
How is this different from the Louis Engravable?
Same engraved finish and construction. The Mitch Engravable is 11" tall; the Louis Engravable is 7" tall.
Does it come with a lock?
Locking is an option at checkout. Every lock is keyed differently; if the keys are lost, the lock has to be replaced, so we sell blank keys for making copies.
Can I install it near the ocean or a salted road?
The engraved lettering is bare stainless steel 304, which can show rust spots from salt air or de-icing salt. For those locations, choose a powder-coated aluminum model, which cannot rust.
