Mitch S Wall Mounted MailBox

Our modern wall mounted mailbox Mitch S, all stainless steel for a unique modern and contemporary look.

All our mailboxes are designed and made in North America and we only use premium American stainless steel.

Our most popular large model! The Mitch S wall-mounted mailbox is extremely versatile for a unique look. Offered in brushed stainless steel, the personalization is done using laser engraving in black only. The Mitch can be transformed into a locking mailbox, the mail slot is 12" x 3/4". All our locks are keyed differently, so if you lose the keys, the lock will have to be changed. You can purchase blank keys to make copies.

This mailbox is designed to be a wall-mounted mailbox, with protection from direct rain or snow. We do not recommend this mailbox be mounted on a gate, fence, or post as the design of the mailbox in the back and mounting holes prevent the mailbox from being fully waterproof with direct exposure to the elements. If it's your case, let us know, we have solutions!


  • Will the stainless steel eventually rust?
    Technically no, stainless steel can't rust by itself like raw steel, but... If you live by the ocean or are exposed to salt water or de-icing salt, make sure to choose the appropriate mailbox; stainless steel 304 and 316L can easily be contaminated and rust (spots) can appear in saltwater or de-icing salt conditions. Contamination usually comes from raw steel dust or salt (including de-icing salt). If it even happens to you, let us know, we can sell you a stainless steel restorer. We won’t guarantee premature rust on stainless steel in a saltwater area or because of de-icing salt. Stainless steel can’t rust by itself. Salt water is in the air (dew, mist, etc) more than rain and de-icing salt is from the street.
    The best mailbox for all weather that can't rust is our aluminum powder coated mailboxes. Aluminum can't rust!

    Installation & Weatherproofing Information

    This mailbox is designed for wall-mounted installation. If installed in an area directly exposed to rain or harsh elements, please note that the mounting holes prevent the mailbox from being fully waterproof on their own.

    For optimal weather protection, we recommend adding our Sealing Kit (a link will appear when added to your cart).
    The kit includes three rubber sealing washers for the mounting holes, and we install a rear sealing gasket on the mailbox to ensure a secure, weather-resistant seal when the lid is closed.

    If you plan to mount the mailbox on a fence, our Fence Bracket is available as an optional accessory. When used with compatible models, the bracket ensures the mailbox remains fully weatherproof.
