When I bought my house five years ago, I saw this mailbox and wanted it. The house was built in 1958 so it matched up well but with all the other expenses inherent in buying a home and subsequently settling in, I opted for a cheaper mailbox from the local chain hardware store. Within a year the door was falling off and my attempts to keep it together kept failing. As I’ve heard said, “Buy cheap, buy twice.” I did. I gave up on the first one and ordered this mailbox. What a difference. It's a substantial piece of stainless steel and very well made. Even the packaging is top shelf. It came with a template that made for an easy installation and it is holding up beautifully. This is a quality product from a company that, in my experience, is doing everything right. I can not recommend them high enough.

I recently had a front yard fence installed and wanted a modern mailbox. This shop had the exact look I was going for, the lettering is perfect, and the fence mount sold separately is so easy to use. I do get a little bit of rain in mine during heavier rains. But, the shop is up front about this and recommended having it in a covered location. It's not a big deal and the mailbox is so well made. Perfect size, perfect look. Highly recommend.

My old mailbox was, at 8yrs old, starting to fail so I knew it was time to replace it. This is a very well made sturdy mailbox that I'm confident will last for years.Unfortunately, purchasing this mailbox resulted in the worst case of project scope creep I've ever experienced. Once I ordered the mailbox it occurred to me the style of my house numbers would also need to be updated. With my new mailbox and numbers in hand I set out to install them and realized the front of the house desperately needed a fresh coat of paint. Cool, cool. So now the house has been painted, mailbox and numbers installed, but the style of the exterior lights is just not the vibe I'm going for so those end up getting replaced as well. Everything looks fantastic! ... except the windows.So here I sit, signing a contract for new windows for the entire house, whilst contemplating taking on a second job as a sex worker to pay for said windows.Caveat emptor, my friend! You'll get a lovely mailbox, but may end up a sex worker.

I think this mailbox is so crazy expensive because there's so little competition, not because it rates the price. It's basic painted sheet metal, easy to install and looks sleek and modern, but there's no reason it should be so expensive that I can think of other than the sole reason I personally spent what I consider to be an excessive amount to buy it: There aren't any others like it that are cheaper. There are some much less expensive mailboxes that are modern looking, but none that I saw are as simple and elegant as this one. I don't regret buying this mailbox, it fits the asethetic we're after perfectly, but I do think it's a $75 or $80 mailbox at most.

I really love our new mailbox! I looked far and wide before deciding on this mailbox. We recently just purchased our first house and it had a mail slot on the door but no mailbox.
