- Jeremy Modern Post-Mount Mailbox: black, 14-gauge 5052-H32 aluminum, USPS approved
- 4×4 Aluminum In-Ground Post: black, 1/8″ aluminum wall, 17.5″ in-ground extension included
- Mailbox mounting hardware
- Optional lock: select "with lock" above
Concrete not included. One 50 lb bag of quick-set concrete is typically enough.
- Built to match. Same black powder-coat finish, same design language. The box and the post read as one piece.
- Proportioned right. The wide Jeremy needs a substantial post under it. The 4×4 is the largest profile we make, so the box never looks top-heavy.
- Rust-free, top to bottom. All-aluminum construction. No steel to corrode, even in coastal and high-humidity climates.
- Clean at grade. Only the extension goes into concrete. The visible post stays above ground, out of soil and standing water.
- USPS height, built in. Installs at the required 41–45″ to the bottom of the mailbox.
- Made in North America.

What's included in the Jeremy + 4×4 Post Kit?
The Jeremy wide post-mount mailbox in black, a matching 4×4 black aluminum in-ground post with a 17.5″ in-ground extension, and the mailbox mounting hardware. A lock is optional. Concrete is not included.
Why buy the kit instead of the pieces?
It is the same two products with the finish and fit already matched, and you save up to $65 compared with buying them separately.
How high is the mailbox once installed?
The kit installs at USPS height: 41–45″ from the road surface to the bottom of the mailbox, set back 6–8″ from the curb.
How deep does the post go in the ground?
Dig a hole 12–14″ deep and set the 17.5″ in-ground extension in quick-set concrete. One 50 lb bag is typically enough. Let it cure at least 24 hours before mounting the post and mailbox.
Can I install it over my existing wood post?
Yes. The aluminum post slides over a standard 4×4 wood post, so no new concrete is needed.
Is the Jeremy mailbox USPS approved?
Yes. The Jeremy is a USPS-approved curbside mailbox.
Can I add house numbers?
Yes. Laser-engraved stainless steel numbers and custom text are available on the Jeremy. Click Personalize It.
Is the kit available in white?
No. The 4×4 post is made in black only, so the kit ships in black from top to bottom.
Will it survive winter and road salt?
Yes. Aluminum cannot rust, and the UV-stabilized powder coat is built for year-round exposure, from Quebec winters to coastal salt air.
What if a plow or car hits it?
Aluminum yields on impact instead of acting like a rigid steel or concrete post, which is what the Federal Highway Administration recommends for curbside mailbox supports.
